A unique river retreat for relaxing and viewing wildlife. We are minutes from extensive trails and about an hour from Lassen Park. Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! With windows along most of the east side, you will almost always have a view of the Sacramento River. This is not a cookie cutter house—please read listing.

This cottage was completely remodeled in 2020. It sits on the back of our property and backs up to an orchard. The property is over an acre. It is quiet and peaceful. You will find fruit trees, grapes, a garden and chickens. The chickens roam the property during the day. You may hear a rooster in the AM. There is a covered patio and fire pit to enjoy the evenings in Chico. If you like to cook outdoors there is a gas BBQ & pellet grill/smoker. It is 1.8 miles from Chico State and Downtown.

The Sycamore House

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home in Chico. It is located just three blocks from the entrance to Bidwell Park for morning walks, or about 1/2 mile to the quaint downtown Chico area! This home has been updated from top to bottom and has every amenity you could ask for! There is also a fully fenced front and back yard area for your furry friends! Relax under the lights by the fire pit in the backyard. This place feels like home!
