Relaxing, fun and comfortable condo located on the east end of the island. A few of my favorite things: -RIGHT on the beach (the majority of places to stay in Galveston require you to cross a busy street to get to the beach) -can walk to the end of the island on the beach -7 minute drive to the Strand -Away from the over crowded area of the island, but not too far from anything -PLENTY of activities- tennis court, volleyball net, hammocks, etc. Visit Galvestonian website for more details

Welcome to Under the Oak Montrose! This property is my home and I’d love to share my guest house and gorgeous backyard santuary with you. Ya'll! The Michelin Guide for Texas came out early 2025. My husband and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing the treasures in the Galveston Bay Area. We are located just 1.5 miles from the Kemah Boardwalk, minutes from NASA/Space Center, & halfway between Galveston and Downtown Houston. You’ll love our place because of the quaint island setting, great for sunrise and sunsets. Come watch the boats passing and relax on island time, all while being respectful of our neighbors. We have a pool (not heated) and hot tub. No parties allowed.
