You will have private parking, leading to a private stone stepway, arriving at a private entrance in addition to a spacious private brick patio to view the deer, turkeys and green hillside landscapes. And we're only minutes to Old Town Auburn restaurants, wine bars and shops. Hiking and biking trails nearby with water sports on Folsom Lake!

Vineyard Retreat/Private entrance/Unique features

Come and relax at “The Double MK Ranch” overlooking the vineyard of Dono Dal Cielo. Centrally located between I-80 and Hwy 65 and set within Placer County wine trail. We have two spaces (same price) just specify which room you want to stay in. Our Romantic Suite is attached to the Theater Game Room which is EXCLUSIVE to the Suite. Our additional space is a Tiny Home- full kitchen, full bath and a queen Murphy bed. If the Suite is NOT rented the Tiny home renter WILL have access to the Game Room

This cozy dwelling is centrally located at the base of the Sierra foothills. The cottage sits on a secluded hilltop on 14 acres that is shared with the landowners in case you need anything. It is private, peaceful, formally a family farm & has herb filled garden beds & gorgeous tree lined sunset views. It is equipped with all you’ll need to make your stay comfortable. Enjoy the peace & quiet of this countryside retreat with access to unlimited activities in both Nevada & Placer counties.

2 Bedroom Cabin in the Woods

Relax on 1.5ac seated on the edge of the canyon! This little delightful cabin is hidden away... you will feel like you’re staying at a 2 Bed Cabin in the woods …. with an occasional fox, deer and bear sightings! Enjoy an evening BBQ on the deck exploring the night sky. This is a small 900sft 1940’s cabin with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a small bathroom on the main floor. Only 3 homes tucked away down this long driveway. Feels rural but close to Grocery store, downtown and to confluence!

Quite literally located across the street from downtown Auburn, this centrally located in-town bungalow is all that you need for your weekend away. When staying with us, you'll be smack-dab in the middle of the action, but you'll feel as though you are a world away as you settle in under massive cedar trees. At Downtown Basecamp, you'll be walkable to tons of trails -- adventure is just outside your doorstep. Stay with experienced super-hosts and come explore all that Auburn has to offer!

Nestled on fenced 5 acres, this home is the perfect gathering retreat for privacy and relaxation. Take a soak in the hot tub with lake views, watch a movie by the fireplace, prepare exquisite meals in the gourmet kitchen and refine your mixology in the full-scale wet bar. Go paddle boarding on the lake, biking or play ping-pong, pickleball or badminton.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Cozy Tiny House in the Sierra Foothills

This hosted rental is the perfect little getaway in the country. It is located on a mini farm complete with goats, chickens, dogs and a huge garden that you will have access to and is close to ALL the outdoor activities you can think of including hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, hunting and more. We are minutes from world famous trails, 10 minutes from the river, and an hour from the ski slopes. There is just so much to do right outside of our doors!

Little River House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on occasion! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

The Crooked Inn

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
