Our lovely cabin offers a hot tub, screened in porch, gas grill, fire ring, and the amenities of home conveniently situated between Athens and Hocking Hills, in an ATV-friendly community. We are located near Nelsonville's Historic Arts District, the Nelsonville Music Festival, Hocking College, Hocking Hills State Park, Athens & Ohio University, Lake Hope State Park, and Wayne National Forest. Sycamore is located on 50 acres of privately owned property and is sure to meet your vacation needs.

Come stay on the banks of the Hocking in the city. Three large rooms with five comfy beds. 2 large full bathrooms. This unit is on the ground floor. It is great for accessibility, however, there may be noises from guests in the other 2 units. Quiet hours are implemented for this. Our brand new barndominium is a 10 minute drive from Ohio University, yet sits on a 100+ acres in the country. You will find it located near the front of the property, feet away from a 16 acre private water ski lake with beautiful sunset views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming during their stay. We designed this as a couples retreat, including a 4 person hot tub, but a second bedroom with a full bed and twin trundle can accommodate friends or family who may join you.

Camp Forever is 20 minutes from Ohio University, and a Short 5 minute drive to 2 Wineries! We love pets and insist you bring them along for your stay.

The Ohio University Convocation Center is hiking distance, as is the University and downtown Athens. FREE WIFI and FREE parking for up to 4 cars. McDonalds, and other fast food is very close by, as is a hardware store. The house is on the Athens transit route and we have Uber and Lyft. The house is a historic Sears kit house built in 1939 and recently extensively remodeled. We have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for for your use only.

Twin Oak

The Twin Oak cabin has been recently renovated, and is identical to and just past our Big Pine cabin. The Twin Oak is more secluded, with a short but steep driveway. Couples often prefer this cabin because it is more hidden at the end of the road. Because of the driveway, guests pulling any type of trailer prefer our Big Pine cabin. If the Twin Oak is selected, a trailer can be parked behind the cabin or at the top of the driveway.
