Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Sea Suite on the Homer Spit

Sea Suite has two bedrooms with a 180 degree view of Kachemak Bay on the Homer Spit. The suite is located on a boardwalk where the waves roll underneath you on the high tide. From the deck, you can watch seals & sea otters play and other critters swim by. The suite has a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, hotplate, coffee maker, and tea kettle. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. The Homer Shores Boardwalk is home to a candy shop, ice cream shop, restaurants, gift shops and more.

Placed in the middle of two acres the home is surrounded by manicured yards, gardens, beautiful mountain peaks, and plenty of country quiet. Yard is open for play, or walking, as is the basketball court. There are swings hanging in car port and a cowboy grill for campfires in the spring and fall.
