This 536 s.f. house, believed to have once been a sleeping shanty for railroad crews switching shifts for the night. Cozy interior includes a kitchenette, dining area, and double bed on main level. All your cooking intensils are provided with coffee, tea, and paper products. DVDs and books available await you up the spiral staircase in the loft. Full bed on main level and two singles bed upstairs. Expansive view from your front porch of the highest bluffs on the Meramec.

Serenity Log Inn - Log Out and Log Inn to Serenity

Welcome to Serenity Log Inn. This authentic 1930s log cabin is located one mile from the historical town of Kimmswick and 25 miles from St. Louis with easy access to major highways. There is a $30.00 fee per use of the historical fireplace. Fee covers set up, dry wood for burning, fire starter and maintenance, and $18.00 fee first use to cover clean up. To prevent infestation of insects, no outside wood allowed. 24 hr notice required.

This lovely rural cottage is nestled back in the woods on its very own private acre of land. It offers guests a beautiful getaway experience while at the same time being just a 7 minute drive from downtown Eureka with its many delicious restaurants and adorable boutiques. Six Flags is a brief 10 minute drive, and Purina Farms is 15. We have ample parking for multiple vehicles and a completely fenced in yard great for 4 legged friends.

Unplug and enjoy a slower pace of life at this picturesque rock cottage. The 1920’s former hunting lodge was built from stone sourced from the property, and is as charming as ever. Enjoy an early morning stroll on one of the many hiking trails, or just relax on the porch while sipping coffee. There are many great hiking opportunities within a short drive, however, once you get settled in you may not find a reason to leave.

A modern, but cozy, 562-sq.-ft. loft apartment with full kitchen and bath, queen bed (with a Winkbeds Luxury Firm mattress)a twin Murphy Bed / desk, living room, walk-in closet, FireStick, Roku, DVD player, WiFi and more. Note that the barn is in our back yard and part of our home, so we don't allow instant book. We know it's a bit of a pain, but hope everyone will understand given that we live here too.
